Kathmandu is not only the capital of Nepal but also the biggest city, placed in the valley with the same name near the Vishnumati river. The city stands at an elevation of approximately 1.317 metres (4,600 ft). It is inhabited by 1.442.271 (2006) people.
The old City is feature for the quantity of Hindu and buddhist temples. The Kathmandu Valley is classified as Unesco World Heritage Site.

The Town of Nagarkot is placed 32 km far from Kathmandu in east direction, is wellknown for the amazing views of Himalaya during the sunsets.

The Royal Chitwan National Park or Chitwan is the first national park of Nepal. It was created in the year 1973 and it was declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1984.
It covers an area of 932 km² and protect several animal species in great risk of extinction like Indian Rhino. The word Chitwan means "Heart of the Jungle". The park is locate in the lower region of Nepal called Teraï.
The vegetation of the park is exuberant, with high grass and salt forest, and also many swamp zones.

Lumbini ( Moder name Rummindei) is a village place in the Terai region. It is considered the birthplace of Buda, according to tradition his mother give birth to him in the road to Kapilavastu, the capital of family clan.

Pokhara is a city placed in center of Nepal, approximately 200 km to west of capital Kathmandu, with 200.000 citizens is the third city in importance.
It is a very beautiful place with crystal lakes, canyons, amazing Waterfalls like Patala Chango (Devi), from Pokhara city we have incredible view of three Mountains Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu all over 8000 m.

Birethanti is a small village set at the foot of the Modi Khola Valley. The village was one of the main stops on the Annapurna Circuit treks, but since the road has been built within a few hours' walk its importance has waned.
It still has many small tea shops and souvenir sellers, even though it is not the thriving trekkers centre it once was.
