Mera peak climbing (6460 meter) is one of the famous peaks in Nepal. It is perhaps best known because it is Nepal’s highest trekking peak. The ascent is not technically demanding and unequalled views of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu will more than satisfy your aspirations. The first ascent of Mera Peak was made by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenzing on 20 May 1953, by the now standard route from the Mera La. By its regular route from Mera La, the ascent is technically uncomplicated; however, after a heavy fall of snow or when the mazes of crevasse are open, the way can be long and demanding. Mera Peak climbing is an excellent option for anyone with moderate mountaineering experience. It is a challenging trekking peak due to its elevation, but the technical mountaineering skills requirement is very basic. Besides, The Nepal tour seasoned Sherpa guide will provide us with a basic mountaineering training before the actual summit.

The Mera Peak climbing expedition begins with a scenic flight to the Tenzing and Hilary airport at Lukla. The flight offers the first glimpses of the Himalayas. A completely new and unhindered route is taken to get to the base of the Mera Peak. Get past the Paiya, Panggom, Ningsow, and such other Sherpa villages to arrive at the Mera High Camp. Stop at the village of Khare for a pre-climbing training. With a non-technical climb at the beginning followed by a difficult trek at the end, this expedition proves to be the most difficult trek you ever had have. Getting permit form NMA to your departure, you don’t have to worry about anything. We will likewise provide you with all the necessary thing during your climbing period along with experienced and professional trekking and climbing guide who will assist you on the trek as well as summit the peak.
